The A&WMA’s technical program always provides the most up-to-date information available in a wide variety of environmental fields. No matter what your specialization, you’ll be sure to find sessions that interest you at this conference. This year’s technical program will feature over 500 presentations by authors from around the globe and is built around the theme “Beyond All Borders.”
For the first time ever, A&WMA’s Conference & Exhibition will also feature two poster sessions where over 150 posters will be displayed with no competing sessions. These sessions will offer the opportunity to talk with the poster presenters, and will feature hands-on demonstrations and visual presentations.
This year’s technical program will cover a wide range of topics including air measurements; air quality modeling; air toxics; chemistry; climate change; compliance; control technologies; energy; health effects; indoor air; particulate matter and visibility; regulations; resource conservation; sustainability; and transportation.
Be sure to check out the featured panel, Future of Oil Drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, on Thursday morning. Panelists from industry and regulatory agencies will discuss the importance of oil as a major part of U.S. energy supply; the role of the Gulf of Mexico as part of U.S. domestic energy resources; the potential impacts to the Gulf's ecosystems that were highlighted by the recent oil spill, and other important topics of interest.
