Help A&WMA ensure that the technical program runs smoothly and lower your registration costs by volunteering as a conference monitor! In return, volunteers receive a free registration to attend the conference.
Volunteer monitors work one or more shifts monitoring various technical sessions to ensure that all audio/visual equipment is operational and that presenters’ needs are met. Morning session volunteers begin at 7:15 a.m. and afternoon session volunteers at 12:30 p.m. Volunteering for one half-day offers a free same-day registration. Full-day volunteers receive any other day’s registration at no cost. Student volunteers earn a full student registration by serving as a volunteer monitor for two full days.
Assignments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis, so register early. Registration benefits include admission to technical sessions and exhibits only. Any registration fees paid prior to volunteering will not qualify for a refund.
